The market opened directionless and lacked any clear indication of where it was heading. However, things quickly improved with a significant upswing on Wednesday.

After a brief hiatus, the market roared back to life today with a massive gap up, finally crossing over to the other side of the 200 DMA.

This remarkable surge was propelled by a massive buying, totalling 2090 Cr., by both DIIs and FIIs on Wednesday.Today’s move trumped over the long-held side-ways sentiment by the markets.

A celebratory week at Investmint, with most models closing in the green. Two of the three models which ended in red still beat NIFTY’s YTD returns.
